2014 MBP High Roller Day 1: Liang Yu Finishes on Top

Only 36 remained and Liang Yu from China finished Day1 with the largest stack amassing 1,382,000 in chips. Anatoly Filatov held the second largest stack of 1,340,000 in chips. Other big names to make it through were Pratyush Buddiga, Isaac Haxton, Sam Trickett, Mustapha Kanit, Fabian Quoss, Phil Ivey, Max Altergott, Paul Newey and Stanley Choi.

Notables including Daniel Colman, Mike McDonald, Geoffrey Mooney, Bertrand Grospellier, Igor Kurganov, Joseph Cheong, Jonathan Duhamel, Dan Smith and Jose Carlos Garcia failed to advance to Day2.
